National Sports Commission to co-host Sports Africa Investment Summit 2025

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has reaffirmed its partnership as a Co-Host of the Sports Africa Investment Summit (SAIS) 2025, further strengthening its commitment to driving economic growth and fostering a sustainable sports ecosystem in Nigeria. Led by Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko, the Commission is poised to make the summit a cornerstone for transformative sports development across Africa.

Scheduled for February 17–18, 2025, the event will take place at the Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island. The NSC’s active involvement underscores its vision of repositioning sports as a major economic sector powered by innovative investments and infrastructure development.

Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko addressed the summit’s adjusted timeline, highlighting its strategic importance:

“The National Sports Commission is committed to shaping a sustainable and inclusive sports ecosystem in Nigeria. The decision to postpone SAIS reflects our desire to align this summit with our renewed vision and ensure that public sector engagement is maximized.
