Filipino MMA star Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang is entering 2025 with one clear goal: to dominate the strawweight division and reclaim his spot among the division’s best. His journey to the top continues on February 8, 2025, at ONE Fight Night 28, where he will face the #5-ranked strawweight contender Keito Yamakita inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Adiwang, 31, has been on an impressive three-fight win streak since making his comeback from an ACL injury in late 2023. With this upcoming bout, he aims to extend his momentum and reenter the rankings.

“To my fans and supporters, Happy New Year! And I promise to make it even happier by announcing my return in the ring this February 8,” said Adiwang. “My new year has been silent because I am saving all the fireworks [for] fight day, so don’t miss it.”

Adiwang’s commitment to this fight has been nothing short of extraordinary. He cut his holidays short, spending only Christmas with family in the Philippines before flying back to Bali to resume his training camp with Soma MMA.

“There were no fancy New Year’s celebrations for me,” Adiwang shared. “No smoked meat on the grill. No fireworks. Only hard work. [Keito Yamakita] is a grinder, and that’s why I’m truly preparing for this fight.”

The Juggernaut Joins the Action
Joining Adiwang on the card is his close friend and former teammate Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw. Pacatiw is set to face Ibrahim Dauev in a bantamweight MMA bout, where he’ll look to secure his third straight win and continue his impressive streak in ONE Championship.

With both fighters aiming to keep their winning streaks alive, ONE Fight Night 28 promises to be an action-packed event. Lito Adiwang and Jeremy Pacatiw are ready to represent Filipino pride on the global stage and deliver electrifying performances for their fans.

Mark your calendars for February 8, 2025, and catch the action live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand!
