A Dream Realized

For Tomas, joining CSB fulfills a long-held aspiration. “I am grateful to the CSB management for their full trust in me and for giving me an avenue to showcase my talents,” she said. “Also, CSB is my dream school, so I am very fortunate to be able to study and play there.”

Ramos echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the honor of studying and competing for a prestigious Manila-based school. “The opportunity given to me to study in Manila, specifically at CSB, is both an honor and a privilege,” she said.

Championship Pedigree

Bartolome, Tomas, and Ramos hail from Bacolod Tay Tung’s storied volleyball program, renowned for producing Palarong Pambansa champions. The trio is determined to bring their winning attitude to the Lady Blazers, with the goal of upholding the school’s dominance in NCAA women’s volleyball.

“The school can look forward to my dedication and strong work ethic,” said the 5-foot-11 Bartolome. “I am committed to meeting the team’s high standards and confident that, with the support of the coaches and CSB, I will improve and prepare for the next level of my volleyball career.”

Tomas, standing at 5-foot-5, promised unwavering effort both on and off the court. “I will do everything in games and training to help the school maintain its winning tradition in the NCAA,” she said.

Ramos, a 5-foot-8 utility spiker, vowed to excel both academically and athletically. “They can expect that I will make the most of this opportunity and continue to grow with CSB in the upcoming years,” she stated.

A Promising Future

As they prepare to don the green and white jerseys of the Lady Blazers, Bartolome, Tomas, and Ramos are set to begin their NCAA journeys in Season 101, which kicks off in early 2026. Their addition promises to strengthen CSB’s title defense and add depth to the roster.

The commitment of these talented Thunderbolts signals a bright future for CSB women’s volleyball as they aim to continue their winning tradition in the NCAA and beyond.
