World Beach Pro Tour Challenge in Nuvali returns for intense action from November 28 to December 1

Get ready for world-class beach volleyball as the World Beach Pro Tour Challenge in Nuvali is set to bring the heat to the City of Santa Rosa from November 28 to December 1. This prestigious tournament, part of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, offers ranking points toward the coveted Elite16, attracting the best teams from across the globe.

A total of 48 teams—24 men’s and 24 women’s—will compete for a share of the $75,000 prize pool in each division. The teams will be divided into six pools, with the top two from each group advancing to the knockout stage. This event, hosted by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), promises to deliver high-energy matches and exciting beach volleyball action for fans.

Rising Filipino Stars and Fierce International Competition

Among the teams to watch are the Philippines’ very own D’Artagnan Potts and Jack Pearse, who will be aiming to complete a double after their recent victory in the Asian Seniors Beach Volleyball Championship. However, they will face tough competition from volleyball powerhouses like Poland, France, Italy, Brazil, USA, and Germany, as well as perennial Asian contenders Japan and Thailand.

On the men’s side, the Philippines has three strong pairs: Ran Abdilla and Lerry John Francisco, James Buytrago and Rancel Varga, and Ronniel Rosales and Edwin Tolentino. Meanwhile, in the women’s event, Kly Orillaneda and Gen Eslapor, along with Alexa Polidario and Jen Gaviola, will represent the Philippines.
