The PLDT High Speed Hitters are aiming for back-to-back victories when they face the Galeries Tower Highrisers on Tuesday, November 19, at the Ynares Center in Antipolo. As part of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference, this match is a crucial step for PLDT as they look to join the top of the standings.

PLDT’s Savi Davison Leads High Speed Hitters

After a successful return from a long hiatus, Fil-Canadian standout Savi Davison is expected to continue her explosive form following a standout performance in PLDT’s opening match. Davison scored 19 points and delivered nine excellent receptions in their four-set victory over the Nxled Chameleons. Coach Rald Ricafort expressed optimism, noting that while it was a solid start, there are still areas to improve, especially their execution in closing out matches.

“Sayang, hindi namin na-straight sets,” Ricafort said, reflecting on their third-set stumble. With key players like Fiola Ceballos, Erika Santos, and Majoy Baron supporting Davison, the High Speed Hitters look poised to add another win to their record.

Galeries Tower Highrisers Look to Bounce Back

The Galeries Tower Highrisers are hoping to rebound from two tough losses to the Akari Chargers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans. Despite some bright moments, including a hard-fought five-set loss to the Titans, their inconsistency has been a challenge. Key players like Julia Coronel, Jewel Encarnacion, Ysa Jimenez, and Andrea Marzan will need to step up their performance to challenge the powerful PLDT squad.

ZUS Coffee vs. Nxled in Early Game

In the 4:00 p.m. matchup, the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles and Nxled Chameleons both seek to secure their first win of the season after losses in their opening games. The Thunderbelles, led by rookie sensation Thea Gagate and supported by veterans Jovelyn Gonzaga and Chai Troncoso, are eager to bounce back. Meanwhile, the Chameleons, anchored by Chiara Permentilla and Lycha Ebon, will look to recover and even their record in the league.

Both games promise intense competition as teams fight for position in the standings. With the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference heating up, the High Speed Hitters will look to continue their strong start, while the Highrisers aim to turn things around. Volleyball fans can expect another thrilling day of action at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
