The highly anticipated FIBA Women’s Basketball League Asia (WBL Asia) 2024 is set to debut in Chengdu from September 26-28. The competition will feature the finest basketball talent from across Asia, with teams like Japan’s Fujitsu Red Wave, Chinese Taipei’s Cathay Life, China’s Sichuan Yuanda Meile, and Indonesia’s Surabaya Fever all fielding their best players.

Leading the charge for Sichuan Yuanda will be Xu Han, the dominant 2023 TISSOT MVP of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup. The 24-year-old center led the tournament in scoring and rebounding, posting an impressive stat line of 22.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game, while shooting over 60% from the field.
