The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) has entered into a strategic partnership with VolleyStation to enhance data collection and competition management for upcoming volleyball seasons. This collaboration aims to elevate the level of volleyball in the Philippines by integrating cutting-edge technology into national competitions.
PNVF President Ramon “Tats” Suzara secured the partnership with VolleyStation CEO Lukasz Wrobel during the Paris 2024 Olympics. Suzara, who served as a technical delegate for the FIVB at the Olympics, witnessed firsthand the effectiveness of VolleyStation’s referee systems, which were employed during the games.
“As part of the partnership, VolleyStation will provide powerful software for national teams, competition management systems, and players’ database systems,” Suzara announced. “Thanks to an extensive live data presentation system, fans can easily follow accurate information from each match organized by PNVF.”
The partnership’s benefits extend beyond the PNVF. Suzara highlighted that domestic leagues such as the Premiere Volleyball League (PVL), University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) will also have access to VolleyStation’s advanced software through the PNVF.
VolleyStation, a Poland-based company founded in 2019, is recognized as the official provider of Data Collection Systems for the FIVB and Volleyball World, serving over 500 customers in 35 countries.
“We are very proud of our budding partnership with the Philippine Volleyball Federation,” said Wrobel. “We have been closely monitoring the dynamic development of volleyball in the Philippines and consider this market as one of the most promising directions for our company.”
The Philippines is set to host the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship from September 12 to 28, 2025, further solidifying its position on the global volleyball stage. VolleyStation will provide its software and technology for all PNVF events, including the Champions League, National Under-18 and Under-23, Challenge Cup, and the William G. Morgan Cup, an international tournament honoring the inventor of volleyball.
