The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), on Wednesday (July 19), hosted the final Inter-Agency Meeting for the FIBA World Cup (FIBAWC) at the fabled Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila.
The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) brought about 25 athletes to represent the 247 medalists of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games to the offices of Pioneer Insurance in Makati City on Monday, July 17, to celebrate their victories.
Before the month ended, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) headed by chairman Richard Bachmann formally welcomed Commissioner Matthew “Fritz” Gaston to the PSC family when the latter reported for duty Friday, Mar. 31 at the PSC Main Administrative Building inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila.

I salute the Alyssa Valdez-less Creamline for its gallant stand in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Cup. And I can’t blame the growing number of fans for admiring the new breed of Philippine volleyball superstars. The Pinay spikers eventually finished 6th, trumpeted by spin doctors as the best finish by the country in the tournament.

The problem is Eumir Felix Marcial, who’s now a professional pugilist, though I sincerely believe that his commitment to the national cause remains solid as ever is fighting an enemy, an imaginary enemy or shall I say the wrong enemy.
They say life is short, enjoy it to the fullest as much as you can. With the pandemic in our midst, we are somewhat caught in a trap of helplessness and fear. Nothing is certain.
