Mylene Paat-Rezanova is treating the 2026-27 season as her last playing year. The veteran opposite hitter is focused on sharing what she has learned over the past decade as much as on winning.
Coming off the bench, Paat-Rezanova scored 15 points as Farm Fresh completed a reverse sweep of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 20-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-23, 15-13. The Foxies fought back after dropping the first two sets.

The win came Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City during the 2026-27 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Siklab Series. It was Farm Fresh’s second win in three games.
Paat-Rezanova Wins PVL Weekly Award
Her timely contribution and leadership in the comeback earned Paat-Rezanova the PVL Press Corps Player of the Week citation. The recognition arrives as the league celebrates its 10th year.
The 32-year-old topped a field that included Creamline’s Pangs Panaga, Nxled’s Jonah Sabete-Escamillan and PLDT’s Savi Davison. Farm Fresh teammate Trisha Tubu, Akari’s Eli Soyud and Capital1’s Bella Belen were also in the running.
The citation is given by print and online reporters covering the league, which is organized by Sports Vision. Paat-Rezanova is also a former conference MVP, earning the honor at the 2022 Reinforced Conference.
Veteran Leadership Fuels Farm Fresh
Rather than dwell on what she can still accomplish individually, Paat-Rezanova wants to help Farm Fresh grow as a group. That mindset was evident against Choco Mucho, with the Foxies forced to dig deep after losing the first two sets.
She leaned on positivity and teamwork. “Actually, siguro ’yung pagiging positive mindset ko and kada set talaga sinasabi ko kailangan naming magtulong-tulong, pagkatiwalaan namin yung bawat isa, especially nung umabot kami sa fifth set,” she said.
“Sobrang emotional ko na to the point na sobrang thankful ko sa teammates ko kasi lumabas ’yung trust and unity ng team,” Paat-Rezanova said. “Kapit at puso ng bawat isa at tiwala hindi lang sa sarili namin, kundi sa teammates at coaches namin.”
“Pinagdasal talaga namin kay Lord na bigyan kami ng lakas. We’re not asking na maipanalo ’yung game,” she said. “Bonus na lang sa amin yung fifth set na naipanalo namin kasi ang hiningi namin kay Lord ay lakas ng pangangatawan at puso.”
Farm Fresh continues its campaign against the Akari Chargers on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium. The Foxies will look to build on the comeback and the trust they showed against Choco Mucho.
