San Beda, Letran, Ateneo, and FEU advance to NSAC 2026 College Basketball Campus Tour quarterfinals

San Beda University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Ateneo de Manila University, and Far Eastern University secured quarterfinal spots in the NSAC 2026 College Basketball Campus Tour after winning their respective Round of 16 matchups on Saturday, May 2, at the UPHSD Gymnasium in Las Piñas. The four programs delivered composed finishes in tightly contested elimination games to move one step closer to the championship.

The victories highlighted the strength and depth of both NCAA and UAAP programs, with each team showing late-game discipline, defensive stops, and timely scoring to survive and advance in the knockout stage.

San Beda and Letran survive late pushes

San Beda University remained unbeaten after defeating Lyceum of the Philippines, 67-61, to finish Group D at 3-0. The Red Lions controlled the final minutes with key inside baskets and defensive stops to hold off a late Lyceum rally.

Letran followed with a 78-64 win over University of Perpetual Help, pulling away late in a tight contest. The Knights capitalized on timely three-point shooting and steady execution to secure their quarterfinal berth.

Ateneo and FEU complete quarterfinal cast

Ateneo de Manila University survived a Mapúa comeback attempt to win 91-83 after nearly losing a double-digit fourth-quarter lead. The Blue Eagles responded with clutch baskets and free throws to close out the game.

Far Eastern University dominated San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 100-77, to remain unbeaten in the tournament. The Tamaraws controlled the second half behind strong rebounding and balanced scoring to advance convincingly.
