BRAVE CF 2024 Breakout Fighter of the Year: Nominees Announced

Bahrain’s own Rasul Magomedov solidified his status as a rising star in 2024, maintaining an unblemished record. At BRAVE CF 87 in the Netherlands, Magomedov secured a dominant first-round stoppage against seasoned Brazilian fighter Pablo Benaion. He followed this with an impressive decision win over Polish MMA veteran Lukasz Olech in the main event of BRAVE CF 90 in Austria.

Gerard Burns: Ireland’s Double-Division Threat

Irish fighter Gerard Burns turned heads this year with his versatility and power, competing in two weight classes. Burns delivered a stunning first-round knockout at BRAVE CF 81 in the Flyweight division and clinched a unanimous decision victory over Santhiago Paiva in the Bantamweight division at BRAVE CF 89.

Monika Kučinič: A Trailblazing Female Fighter

Making history as the first female nominee for this category, Monika Kučinič showcased her exceptional skills in 2024. At BRAVE CF 81 in Slovenia, Kučinič secured a third-round armbar submission against Sofiia Bagishvili. She later claimed a thrilling split-decision win over Fabiola Pidroni at BRAVE CF 88, a bout hailed as a Fight of the Year contender.

Noach Blyden: A Knockout Artist on the Rise

Accomplished kickboxer Noach Blyden made his mark on the MMA scene with two highlight-reel knockouts. At BRAVE CF 83 in the Netherlands, Blyden stopped Oskar Herczyk in devastating fashion, followed by another knockout victory against Adrian Gralak at BRAVE CF 87, cementing his position among the elite.
