Rauli Tutarauli prepares for his world title bid at BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. the World.

The stage is set for one of the most defining nights in Georgian mixed martial arts history as BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. the World takes over the Tbilisi New Sports Palace on Friday, October 3.

The blockbuster card, staged in partnership with Georgian Fighting Championship (GFC), headlines the fifth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week and cements Georgia as the 37th nation to host a premier BRAVE CF event. For local fans, it is more than spectacle — it is a milestone moment, with seven homegrown talents entering the cage against elite international opposition.

Tutarauli leads Georgia’s charge for world title glory

Headlining the event is Rauli Tutarauli (36-8), who carries the weight of national expectation into a five-round showdown against Dutch veteran Pieter “The Archangel” Buist for the BRAVE CF Interim Lightweight World Championship.

Tutarauli, celebrated alongside compatriots Ilia Topuria and Guram Kutateladze, has compiled 22 knockouts and eight submissions. A win in Tbilisi not only crowns him interim champion but also sets up a redemption bout with reigning king Abdisalam Uulu Kubanychbek, who defeated him at BRAVE CF 87 in 2024.

Adding to Georgia’s title hopes is Lasha Abramishvili (10-2-1), who faces No. 3-ranked Khurshed Nazarov of Tajikistan in a high-stakes bantamweight clash. With two straight wins under the BRAVE CF banner, Abramishvili is eyeing a shot at Borislav Nikolic’s world crown.

Rising stars look to make their mark

Mukhrani Narsavidze (8-1) makes his BRAVE CF debut against Moldova’s Gheorghe Gritko in a pivotal middleweight contest, while Luka Giorgadze (9-2) returns to featherweight action against unbeaten Aruban prospect Reymond Jowett.

Featherweight Dimitri Bolkvadze (9-2) finally gets his global breakthrough, battling Kazakhstan’s Timur Kuanysh, while Borena Tsertsvadze (4-0) seeks to extend her unbeaten streak in a women’s flyweight bout with Azerbaijani prospect Khanim Bashirova.

Opening Georgia’s campaign is lightweight finisher Badri Focxverashvili (4-1), who meets France’s Levy Carriel in a three-round bout designed to ignite the home crowd early.

With eight Georgian fighters on the card and a world title on the line, BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. the World promises a landmark evening that could redefine the nation’s place in the MMA world.
