Brandon Ramirez and JB Bahio delivered career performances to power NLEX past Terrafirma, 117-87, Wednesday in the 2025 PBA Philippine Cup at Ninoy Aquino Stadium. The Road Warriors extended their winning streak to five games, improving to 5-1 in the standings.
Ramirez tallied a personal-best 21 points while Bahio added 17 markers and 10 rebounds in a dominant showing. NLEX raced to a 22-5 start and built a 44-22 cushion by the second quarter, setting the tone early.

NLEX Coach Uichico Pleased With Team Effort
“All 13 players contributed. Everybody was in the right mindset,” said coach Jong Uichico. Despite brief lapses in execution, NLEX stayed in control, especially in the fourth quarter where they closed with a 13-0 blitz.
JB Bahio’s double-double and Ramirez’s offensive burst were well-supported by Javee Mocon’s 13-point, 12-rebound effort. Robbie Herndon also chipped in 15 points.
Valdez Caps Blowout With Late Scoring Spree
Enoch Valdez, the last man off the bench, poured in all nine of his points during the game’s closing 3:43. Robert Bolick, though struggling with his shot, dished out 10 assists in a steady floor general role.
Mocon drained two clutch triples late in the third quarter that helped snuff out a brief Terrafirma rally, rebuilding a 17-point advantage heading into the final period.
Terrafirma Slides to Sixth Straight Loss
Terrafirma fell to 1-6 and in danger of early elimination. Kevin Ferrer led the Dyip with 23 points, while Louie Sangalang posted 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Mark Nonoy and Brent Paraiso added 11 and 10 points, respectively, but the Dyip trailed by as many as 22 in the first half and never fully recovered. Their comeback hopes faded after NLEX reignited their offensive rhythm in the fourth.
